Date to begin Reading...

I am busy for this whole weekend coming, pretty much, and I want to be here for the first week; it's only right. I am thinking of starting the Read for the weekend of the 21st-22nd. This should give those of you who don't currently have a copy of Sharpe's Tiger enough time to get hold of one.

I think that we should go through the series in chronological order, starting with Tiger and ending with Devil, if people are up for that?

Of course you can join in after - it probably won't be a real-time discussion anyway, so you won't miss out on anything.

Sounds good to me. I'm visiting that weekend and part of the next week, but I have long hours on train to read ... Forgive me if I don't comment much and am pretty much parted from all research material that first week, though.

(And yes, chronological order would be fine with me - never read them that way before!)

Sounds good to me! I am glad we're reading them in chronological order, because I didn't know 'til I started watching the show that "Rifles" had technically been published first.
